MaWangDui DaoYin Exercise is one of the Health Qigong routines that are meant to be practise using mental concentration focused along the meridians to stimulate the liver and gallbladder channels. The simple movements are easy to learn, benefiting practitioners, both physically and spiritually.  p

Regular practice will help to prevent and relieve pain in shoulders and neck, lose fat around the waist. It also helps to relieve tightness in the chest and promote circulation of Qi and blood which might be beneficial for asthma sufferers.

One day QiGong Workshop - MaWangDui DaoYi Shu (Guiding Qi)

Keep a calm face and a peaceful mind. Rotating and stretching in a slow, relaxed manner. Stretching tendons, alternating tension with relaxation. Exhaling the old and inhaling the new achieving the unity of body and mind. Helps promote physical and mental well-being, prevents illness, strengthens the body, helps improve balance, stretching and coordination and even prolongs life. Regular practice Health Qigong, Mawangdui Daoyin Shu is focusing attention along the meridians in coordination with mental concentration.

I would recommend anyone, who is interested in raising and improving their health and fitness level and help others along the way, to take up this workshop. It is simple to learn and suitable for people of all ages. It is recommended from young to senior, from beginners and advanced to understand better and further Chi, body meridians and meditation.

It is easy to study this fitness exercise. It is suitable for all people from children to the elderly.

MaWangDui DaoYi Shu (Guiding Qi)is an exercise derived from Dao Yin Qigong consisting of 12 movements that are performed in a standing position. It is simple to learn and suitable for people of all ages. It is the most renowned and popular of all the classic Chinese Qigong meditation exercises.

The difference between Health Qigong and other sports lies in that the former emphasizes breathing and lays stress on unity of mind and body. The entire set of movements of Health Qigong · Mawangdui Daoyin Shu is required to be done in a manner of breathing naturally and smoothly, keeping essence-spirit within the body, coordinating idealization with movements of the limbs and the trunk, so as to attain the state of unity of
mind and body.

Program - Health QiGong, MaWangDui DaoYi Shu (Guiding Qi). After the lunch break we will start with meditation, as in the morning.

Come along and experience with us how simple and enjoyable Tai Chi and Health Qigong can be! Feel the benefits in your everyday health and well-being by feeling energized and relaxed. Please come scent free in consideration for those with perfume allergies. Wear loose comfortable clothes and flat shoes suitable for exercise.

Training fees

  • Early bird bookings, for members and payments received before 30th September, 2017  $85.00.

  • After 30th September , 2017 $ 95.00.

  • Morning & afternoon tea are provided but you must bring your own lunch.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us immediately.

  • A full refund is awarded when 14 days notice or more, is given prior to the course start date.

  • 13 – 7 days notice attracts a 50% refund.

  • 6 days or less notice, attracts a 0% refund.

  • When more than 48 hours notice is given for absence of an in-person class, the student may join the next group when they become available. This is a once only option.
