Distance
- Keep the 4 square metre rule helps to determine the maximum number of people allowed on the premises or attending an event. It does not determine the distance between people.
- Keep the physical distancing - means reducing the close physical contact we have with one another and staying 1.5 metres away from people we don't live with.
Mask - during healing session
-
COVID-19 spreads more easily indoors and in settings where you can’t physically distance. It is really important that you carry a clean face mask with you at all times and wear it:
-
if it is mandatory for you to wear a mask
-
if it is hard to maintain 1.5 metres of physical distance from others
-
Wave to your class friends
- Virtual hugs are still the new normal.
- We know you've missed your tai chi and qigong friends (we've missed you all too) so give them a wave, but please don't touch or get too close. We know you all have a lot to catch up on, but at this time, it’s best to wave hello and then head to your workout.
- You can stay up-to-date and connected with the Tunde-World community via our social channels.
A clean workout is a great workout
- Please wash your hands before arriving at the class and regularly throughout your time inside the class.
- Our handy posters around the hall will provide more information on hand-washing and best hygiene practices, so you can refer to these at any time while you're working out.

How the four square metre rule applies to premises under public health orders. 1st July
How to calculate the number of people for the size of your room
- Measure the length of the room.
- Measure the width of the room.
- Multiply the length by the width to calculate the area of your room in square meters.
- Divide the area of your room (calculated in square meters) by 4 to calculate the maximum number of people allowed.
Example
- Length = 8.25 meters
- Width = 10.6 meters
- Square meters: 8.25 x 10.6 = 87.45
- Maximum number of people: 87.45 ÷ 4 = 21
